The department of Clinical Ministries to Ministers and Missionaries was established in 1989 and is under the direction of Wayne Taylor, a mental health professional who also has several years of pastoral experience.
The Broken Heart Fund underwrites mental health care for full-time ministry families in crisis: pastors, full-time evangelists, and missionaries, so no one is ever turned away because of inability to pay for services.
Inexpensive, temporary lodging is offering nearby (on a space available basis) for out-of-town ministry families.
Several appointments are generally scheduled over a period of a few days for out-of-town clients, and homework assignments accompany them back hometo be completed before the next visit to EMERGE.
